Porn is Cliché


Everywhere you find the now clichéd suffix of “porn”.  Just like the fortune cookie add-on of – “in bed” following the wisdom from the crunchy almond cookie, porn has become murky and no longer adds value to the description.  The use of an adjective that is related to the single noun you wish to describe will invoke a stimulating emotional response in the reader.  The current second best is inserting  “sexy” as a prefix.peaches

Which description makes your mouth water the most . . . succulent  peaches, sexy fruit  or   food  porn? 

Build from there . . . as I grasp the flesh of the succulent, juicy peach with my teeth and tear gently, the sticky sugar gushes from my lips, wetting my chin as I struggle to suck all the sweetness into my mouth.

The next post will likely be the overuse of sexy as a prefix . . .
